I have to take you to task for a comment made about CCleaner : Piriform, who developed it, do *not* try to foist toolbars or anything else onto you during the download process from their site. If you got CCleaner from another site – CNet for instance – then it’s that site which is to blame. Piriform play fair, you don’t get unwanted programs tacked onto your download.
